Do I need an appointment to shop at Mahins?

We encourage all brides to make an appointment to make sure we can spend plenty of time personally with you.

For other shoppers, our hours are:

Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm

Saturday 9am - 5pm

Sunday Closed

When should I shop for my wedding dress?

We advise shopping 9 - 12 months in advance.  This gives us plenty of time for ordering, fittings, and alterations.

What is the price range of your wedding dresses?

At your initial appointment, we will always ask your budget and will never pressure you to buy.  Most of our current season's wedding dresses range from $800 - $2500.  We always have a sale rack of dresses that range from $99 - $1200.

What happens at my appointment?

Mahin will personally meet with you to discuss what styles you are interested in. She has a great knowledge and eye and will pull many dresses for you to try on.  You will be able to look and decide together what you like, what to improve, etc. until you find the perfect dress!

Bring family and friends!  This is your time to share your excitement and to enjoy this process with them as well!

Who should I bring to my appointment?

It is totally up to you!  We find you have the best experience when you bring friends and family that you feel supported by.  We also find that a smaller group leads to a more meaningful experience.  While we welcome children, having them with you can cause some stress.  We want you to have an amazing time at your appointment!

Should I bring anything to my appointment?

It's not necessary for you to bring anything.  We have undergarments in the shop for you to use at your fitting.

How long is an appointment?

It really depends.  Usually your first appointment will last 1.5 - 2 hours.  But we are always here to work with you for as long as you need!

 

Do you do alteration?

Yes!  All alterations are done in-house by our expert seamstresses.  Alterations are not included in the price of the gown.
